Meet Magnet — The Clubhouse Legend

Every course has that cool cat. At Oy Vey Golf Club, his name is Magnet—a smooth-swinging, fairway-finding feline whose game is so absurd, the golf ball behaves like it’s got a GPS chip glued to it.

Magnet doesn’t aim for the fairway. He merely thinks about it, and the ball drifts back to center like an invisible force is pulling it. One paw, eyes closed—doesn’t matter. Fairway. Every. Single. Time.

His irons don’t just land near the green—they seek the green. Shots bend, float, and settle beside the flag like they were summoned on command.

Three-putts? Not in his universe. His ball rolls, pauses, then gets sucked to the back of the cup like gravity owes him money. One-putts are normal. Lip-outs are a myth.

And the cart girls?
They SCHVITZ.
They stop dead in their tracks just to watch Magnet swing. For a moment, the whole tee sheet disappears. This cat has its own gravitational pull.

His teammate, The Beagle for Eagle, stands beside him as a reigning club champion—though you’d swear they finished dead last by the way they behave at the 19th hole. They drink, laugh, argue, and celebrate like two guys fresh off a charity scramble meltdown.

Keep your printed gear looking fresh by treating it gently. Always wash inside out, using cold water on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent (no bleach or fabric softeners). Pre-treat stains lightly—dab, don’t scrub—especially around the print.

For drying, air-dry whenever possible to protect the design and prevent shrinking. If you must use a dryer, choose the lowest heat setting and pull the shirt out early. Less heat = longer-lasting graphics.

Caring for your Hats

Hand washing is the safest way to clean most golf hats, preserving their shape and details like embroidered logos. Here’s how:

1. Fill a bucket or sink with lukewarm water. Hot water can shrink or fade your hat.
2. Add a small amount of mild detergent—about a teaspoon per gallon of water.
3. Submerge the hat and let it soak for 5-10 minutes to loosen dirt.
4. Use a soft brush or cloth to gently scrub problem areas, like the sweatband or brim. Be careful around stitching or logos to avoid damage.
5. Rinse thoroughly under cool running water until no soap remains.
6. Pat gently with a towel to remove excess water—don’t wring it out.

Tip: For delicate hats, test a small area first to ensure the detergent won’t cause fading.

Spot Cleaning (For Minor Stains)

If your hat just has a few trouble spots, spot cleaning is quicker:

1. Mix a small amount of mild detergent with water.
2. Dip a cloth or soft brush into the solution and gently dab or scrub the stained area.
3. Wipe with a clean, damp cloth to remove soap residue.
4. Air-dry the hat (more on that below).
